Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the two imperial palaces that survive in China .  The Phoenix Pavilion provided access to the Manchu emperor’s private quarters.  Restoration specifications were prepared for a project funded by the World Bank;  an unexpected bonus was inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List

The Queen Mother's Palace is part of a large palace complex in Hue , the imperial capital of Vietnam , where we assessed and monitored conservation following typhoon damage

The restored ceilings of the King’s Apartments in Hampton Court Palace were restored with our hand-split laths following the fire

Patan Palace , of the 17^th century, is the most intact royal palace in Nepal .  We managed the full documentation of the palace complex and specified repairs, for UNESCO with funding provided by Japan
